Seniors:

CAN I BRING MY MOM OR A FRIEND?
Certainly! Whatever makes you the most comfortable. I find that it's easiest to work with just the senior typically, to have the most fun and get the most genuine pictures.

DO YOU ONLY PHOTOGRAPH GIRLS?
No way! I love senior guy sessions, they're usually a lot of fun and I try to keep you looking manly. I've seen many photographers who somehow manage to make guys look uncomfortable and girly by posing them wrong. I promise that won't happen!

CAN I BRING PROPS?
Of course! Well-thought-out props can add a lot to your shoot. Props can be small things like sunglasses, hats, books, pets, blankets, sports gear, or larger things like instruments or even a vehicle! Let me know if you're wanting to do a themed session (vintage, fairytale, etc.)

WHAT DO I WEAR?
Wear something that represents you and your style! That being said, here are a few general guidelines for selecting outfits for your session:
1: It's all about you: Your senior pictures, that is. I recommend not wearing bold patterns, logos, writing, etc because we want YOU to be the subject, not your clothes!
2. Colors: Pastels and earthly colors are best. Find what colors compliment your skin tone!
3. Accessories: I love accessories in photos! They give you something to play with and help your pictures look more natural.
4. Glasses: I don't recommend wearing glasses due to the unavoidable glare. That being said I completely understand if you chose to wear them, especially if you're rarely seen without them.
5. Makeup, Hair and Nails: I strongly encourage my girls to wear some makeup just to bring out your natural beauty! This sounds wrong, me saying that I want you to look like YOU and then telling you to get all made-up, but cameras tend to take the oomph out of faces especially. Try putting on your blush and eyeliner even darker than you normally would because the camera likes to tone it down. On to hair, let it express who you are. Use those natural waves, or curl it, it's all up to you. Try using some gel or just water to calm the fly-aways. Also make sure you're happy with your nails! They will appear in a lot of your pictures so make sure they aren't all chipped.
6. These aren't rules, if you have an idea of a dress you want to wear and it doesn't fit my silly guidelines, to heck with them! Have some fun :)

CAN I CHANGE UP MY HAIR MID-SESSION?
If it's a simple change like moving your part or putting it into a bun that's encouraged, but if you're wanting to completely change it (curl/straighten) that's just taking time out of your hour and half that you aren't going to want to lose.
